Martha Stewart did it again. After her accidental poolside thirst trap went viral last summer, she surprised fans with a new Friday afternoon – then quickly deleted it.
In the photo, which has since been removed from her page, Stewart is wearing full makeup, including brown eyeshadow, eyelash extensions, nude lipstick and highlighter. She also makes her signature pout, the same facial expression she had in the accidental pool selfie.
Stewart revealed in the caption that her longtime makeup artist Nicole Daisy Toye put on the smokey-eye look for a photoshoot.

By the time Insider viewed the post, before it was deleted, the comments section was already lit by Stewart’s 1.2 million subscribers complimenting him.
“Martha! These thirst traps are crushing the internet!” one person wrote.
“MARTHA STEWART you are so beautiful omg !!!!! You didn’t have to make us all look bad like that !!!!!” another said.
Toye then shared what appeared to be the same photo from Stewart’s latest look on his own Instagram page, but did not share any details about the products they were using. This post has also since been deleted.
However, in an older post showing off another of Stewart’s looks, Toye listed Maybelline mascara, Urban Decay eye shadow, and Laura Mercier as some of their “favorite products.”
It is not known if any of these products were used to create Stewart’s latest smokey eye thirst-trap look.
Toye did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
The key to recreating Stewart’s look? Good quality makeup and lighting
Toye has worked with Stewart for over 10 years and people really want to know what makeup she uses for the 79-year-old celebrity chef and lifestyle guru.
In a December article on how Stewart “stays ready for Zoom,” Rory Satran of the Wall Street Journal wrote that Toye is “bombarded” with messages from people who want to copy Stewart’s look. Toye said she always recommends the same four things: lots of sunscreen and good quality foundation, bronzer and blush.
The “secret sauce” to looking good on camera, Satran added, is to have a good LED ring light on hand, like Toye and Stewart do.

Stewart’s typical routine involves drugstore eyeliner, green juice, and the occasional filler.
In November, Stewart told People Magazine that she never had a facelift but had fillers “maybe twice a year.”
And her dermatologist told Elle’s Chloe Hall in July that good nutrition helps support Stewart’s youthful skin, claiming the celebrity chef “eats incredibly healthy” and “starts every morning with a green juice” (which makes part of Stewart’s daily routine since at least 2012).
In the same interview, the dermatologist revealed that Stewart also relies on serum, sheet masks, drugstore eyeliner and sunscreen.
Stewart is no stranger to thirst traps, though she only recently figured out what they are.
In July, Stewart’s sultry pool selfie went viral and was instantly labeled a thirst trap on several occasions.
Months later, she revealed that she hadn’t even intended to take a selfie.
“I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful turquoise planter at the end of the pool, but the camera was on me, so I just took it. She looked so beautiful, so I posted her, ”she told People Magazine.
“I didn’t know what a ‘thirst trap’ was, but now I know it,” she added, mentioning that she was looking for her next thirst trap.
Does the new sadly deleted smokey-eye selfie count? The legion of Stewart fans certainly seemed to think so.
