MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – We remember the young woman killed in the mass shooting early Sunday morning in a bar in Saint-Paul as “brilliant, joyful and united”.

A person close to the victim identified her as Marquisha Wiley, who was in her 20s. Wiley worked in the animal care field at Globe University, according to his LinkedIn page.

The shooting began just after midnight at Seventh Street Truck Park, a short walk from the Xcel Energy Center. Fourteen other people were injured in the shooting and all are expected to survive.

Police say three men are in custody and are also being treated for injuries at local hospitals.
