The Los Angeles Rams wanted to add some explosiveness to their offense this offseason and they did exactly that by trading for Matthew Stafford, signing DeSean Jackson and drafting Tutu Atwell.
The season has yet to start, but Stafford lives up to all the hype as an outstanding deep passer. He landed perfect throws at depth, most often hooking up with Jackson for big plays – including one against the Cowboys on Saturday.
On Monday, however, he and Van Jefferson tuned in for a big game in practice. Stafford backed off to the right as Jefferson came onto the field, leaving the pass perfectly in the receiver’s arms for a touchdown.

In that offense, Stafford could just throw for 5,500 yards and lead the Rams to an NFC West title.
