NEW ORLEANS – Today, the City of Cultural Economy announces the return of HispaNOLA live!, a Geaux Live NOLA series, powered by Embrace the Culture Virtual Series and sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy, from October 15, 2021, for a six-week weekly performance in the virtual space of the New Orleans Jazz Museum. HispaNOLA live! is a celebration of New Orleans’ rich Latin culture. From the music of the city to the architecture, food and its people, the Latin flavor is woven into the vibrant tapestry of New Orleans. In collaboration with the City of New Orleans, Office of Cultural Economy, HispaNOLA live! aims to highlight some of the talented culture carriers of the Latin community. This is one of the first events organized by the Office of Cultural Economy to celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Mayor’s Office for Cultural Economy presents “Embrace the Culture”, its virtual series to present and support local expressions of art through visual arts, literary arts, film, music, crafts, fashion and culinary world and a diverse collaborative group of artists.
