The McFarland Clinic Marshalltown expands women’s health services with a full range of obstetrics and gynecology care and services.
Services will be available weekly at the 312 E. Main St. location on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday starting in October.
Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologists, Dr Bonnie Beer and Beth Soulli, DO will provide obstetrics and gynecology services on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Certified nurse-midwives Rachel Hayward, Crystal Iddings, Alice May, Mattea Otten and Aubree Remsburg will rotate weekly to Marshalltown.
In a press release on Tuesday, McFarland said its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is dedicated to keeping women healthy with a full range of women’s health services.
“We look forward to establishing and continuing health care relationships for women in the Marshalltown area from teenage years through menopause,” Dr Beer said.
OB / GYN doctors and midwives take care of all aspects of women’s health, including preventive health and reproductive health. Services provided at Marshalltown include annual and wellness exams, contraception counseling, family planning, infertility assessment, prenatal services for pregnant women, postpartum care and assessment. and treatment of menopause. The obstetric delivery will continue to take place at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Future plans for OB / GYN awareness in Marshalltown include adding ultrasound services.
