TMS Entertainment unveiled a new trailer for the Megalobox following anime Thursday. The trailer reveals the title of the anime as Megalobox 2: Nomad, and reveals the anime’s returning cast, staff, and TV premiere date in April on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Returning cast members include Yoshimasa Hosoya like Joe /Nomadic, Shiro Saito like Gansaku Nanbu, Hiroki yasumoto like Yuri, and Michiyo Murase like Sachio.
Returning staff members include the manager You Moriyama, editors Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojimaand composer mabanua. Ayumi Kurashima (DEVILMAN Crybaby) replaces Hiroshi Shimizu as a character creator, and Naomi Kaneda (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood guest character designs) is also the new sub-character designer.
The first 13-episode anime premiered on TBS in April 2018, and Crunchyroll broadcast the series as it is broadcast. The English series double created the Adult swimmingof Toonami block in December 2018. The show’s home video releases in Japan included new anime shorts. Viz Media licensed the anime and released it as a personal video in June 2019.
The anime celebrates the 50th anniversary of Ikki Kajiwara (pen name Asao Takamori) and Tetsuya Chibaof Ashita no Joe manga, and it presents an original story. In the new story, a man called JD (Junk Dog) participates in stationary boxing matches in an underground ring in order to make a living. Today he enters the ring again, but he meets a certain person. JD wants to take on a challenge that risks everything.
