Meghan Markle is said to have admitted to having given personal information to the authors of “Finding Freedom”, the revealing book detailing the exit of her and Prince Harry from the British royal family.

Markle spilled his own tea at authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie to make sure his side of the story was included, the Telegraph reported on Wednesday.

According to documents filed with the High Court, Markle revealed that she was concerned that “her father’s tale” about her – including that she allegedly abandoned him – might be included in the book. Therefore, she presented her own version of events to a source for them to pass on so that “the true position … can be communicated to the perpetrators to avoid any further misrepresentation,” the Telegraph reported.

Markle also reportedly insisted that she had not spoken directly to the perpetrators but could not say whether the Kensington Palace communications team provided any information on her behalf.

As Page Six previously reported, representatives of the Royal Family told us that Markle, 39, and Harry, 36, had no involvement in the book.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to ‘Finding Freedom’,” a spokesperson for the couple told Page Six in July. “This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the Royal Press and their own independent reporting.

We initially reported in May that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke to their journalist friends for the Megxit bombshell biography and their new life as commoners.

A description of the book states: “For the first time ever, ‘Finding Freedom’ goes beyond the headlines to reveal unknown details about Harry and Meghan’s life together, dispelling the many rumors and misconceptions that plague the couple. two sides of the pond. As members of the select group of journalists covering the British Royal Family and their engagements, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have witnessed the young couple’s life like few outsiders can.
