Laura Benanti Melania Trump is back! She appeared in Late Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to demystify a rumor once and for all.
A conspiracy theory circulates on the Internet that the real Melania Trump uses a double of the body. But Melania, from Benanti, has come to clear things up and tell the world that the #FakeMelania rumors are #FakeNews.
"It does not make sense," she insists. "How can there be two Melania trumps? Think about it! Does not it seem crazy that there is even one?"

Benanti currently plays the role of Eliza Doolittle in the revival of My Fair Lady on Broadway by the Lincoln Center Theater. She was recently seen on Broadway in the comedy Meteor Shower and in the musical SHE LOVES ME for which she was named Tony. In 2014, she joined the cast of ABC's hit series "Nashville", in which she performed the role of singer Sadie Stone. Laura has also played in recurring roles in CBS's "The Good Wife" and HBO's "Nurse Jackie."
In addition to her work on television and her critically acclaimed performance as Elsa Schrader in NBC's SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE, Ms. Benanti is a highly regarded theater actress, nominated four times at the Tony Awards, who took Broadway assault at 18 years old.
