Mentor’s Jerome T. Osborne Stadium has been given a facelift, thanks to the 2021 inductees into the Wall of Fame football program.

The official ceremony took place during the Mentor-Brunswick game on September 24. Longtime head coach Steve Trivisonno, former players Conner Krizancic and Dan Bucey, as well as the 2013 and 2017 Mentor football teams have been added to the JTO decor.

Bucey was a linebacker at Mentor in the 1980s (and also state pole vault champion), Krizancic was an All-Ohio wide receiver and quarterback for the Cardinals who graduated in 2014, and Trivisonno is the most successful coach in the history of the program. .

The 2013 and 2017 mentor teams each finished second in Division I in their respective seasons.

“It was really neat,” said Trivisonno, who traveled from Columbus for the evening’s festivities. “It was great to be there for Conner and to see the guys from the 2013 and 2017 teams.

“From a personal perspective, it is a great honor to climb the wall with (another Wall of Famers) Dr Lee Tressel and Dick Crum.”
