A meteor that flew over Vermont and Canada on Sunday made quite a light show.
This meteor, probably an asteroid fragment, crossed the sky on Sunday evening at 42,000 miles per hour, according to NASA Meteor Watch.
He was about 30 miles high when it exploded with a force equivalent to 440 pounds of TNT.
“A nice little fireworks display, courtesy of Mother Nature,” the agency said.
Based on calculations, NASA estimated that the meteor weighed around 10 pounds and was 6 inches in diameter. It’s smaller than a bowling ball.
