Microsoft Teams, the competitor of Microsoft Slack, has been down for hours. Users are having trouble logging into the online chat service, forcing many businesses to use email and the old form of face-to-face conversation to maintain communication. Microsoft acknowledged the crash two hours ago, but the company has not yet been able to restore access for all Microsoft Teams users.
Microsoft Teams has replaced Skype for Business as the primary communication tool for Office 365 users. The software giant has continuously updated it with updates since its original introduction in 2017 It looks like this is the first major crash for the following several connectivity issues for its rival Slack in 2018. We have contacted Microsoft to comment on the Microsoft Teams crash and we will keep you informed accordingly.
