LAS VEGAS – There was a lot of line-up development on Wednesday at the Minnesota Wild morning skate at T-Mobile Arena.
Zach Parise, on the ice for too long a shift when the Vegas Golden Knights tied Monday night’s game with an extra forward, won’t play in Wednesday night’s rematch. Parise will be in good health for the first time in his Wild career and for the second time only in his 16-year NHL career.
As the Golden Knights pushed for the tying goal two nights ago, the veteran left-winger did not opt for a line change with Nico Sturm and Marcus Foligno on his final shift. Parise would end up registering 1 minute 33 seconds on the shift and was instrumental in deflecting the cross pass from Max Pacioretty to Mark Stone.
Moments later, Stone teed Alex Tuch for the tying goal in a possible overtime victory for Vegas.
