BISMARCK – Here are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case, death, hospitalization and vaccination rates as of Wednesday, February 24. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from day to day.
Statewide case rate
- NEW CASES: 118
- TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 702
- TOTAL CASES: 99,531
- TOTAL RECOVERED: 97,389
- DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 2.2%
North Dakota’s number of active cases rose by 11 on Wednesday. Twenty-eight of the new cases were from Cass County, while 23 were from Burleigh County.
Hospitalizations, death

TOTAL DEATHS: 1,440
The North Dakota Department of Health reported the death of a Ward County man in his 20s on Wednesday. Hospitalizations have dropped by three in the past day.

COMPLETE SERIES (TWO DOSES): 62,794 (8.6% of the population)
