There were 443 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Montana as of 1 p.m. Friday, and the statewide death toll reached 895, according to data compiled by MTN News over a 24-hour period.
Reports from local health departments have listed four new deaths: one in Yellowstone County, two in Lewis and Clark County and one in each of Missoula and Dawson County.
The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 8,707, according to MTN News, and there has been a cumulative total of 76,398 cases of the virus in Montana. Of the total cases, 66,797 have recovered.

There are currently 275 people hospitalized for treatment for the virus.
The number of tests performed in the state reached 747,802, an increase of 5,262 in the previous 24-hour period.
The figures communicated by MTN reflect the latest data from the Montana COVID website, as well as additional data received from county health departments.
Note: As COVID-19 cases worsen in Montana, the disparity between state data from the DPHHS and local data from county health departments continues to grow.
