According to data compiled by MTN News, 246 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in Montana on Monday, and the state’s death toll since the start of the pandemic is 1,404.

The number of active cases in the state is currently 1,033, according to MTN News, and there have been a cumulative total of 102,370 cases of the virus in Montana. Of the total cases, 99,933 have recovered.

There are currently 56 people hospitalized for treatment for the virus, and the cumulative number of hospitalizations is 4,669.

The number of tests conducted in the state reached 1,137,788, an increase of 1,828 over the previous 24-hour period.

The number of Montanans who received at least one of the two vaccines is 362,219, and the number of Montanans who received both vaccines and are now fully vaccinated is 140,739.

The figures communicated by MTN reflect the latest data from the Montana COVID website, as well as additional data received from county health departments.

Note: As new cases of COVID-19 continue in Montana, the disparity between state data from the DPHHS and local data from the county health departments also continues.

MTN decided to use a combination of these sources to provide more accurate information on all media platforms. We believe this is a more accurate account of the situation in Montana.

Local county health departments can be alerted to cases before Montana DPHHS. As these counties share this information with the public, MTN believes it should be reflected in our reports. Using this local data means there will be times when the MTN coronavirus data does not align with the status report.
