Montana state health officials reported 43 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking card.
Flathead County recorded the most new cases with 15, followed by Yellowstone County with 11. Big Horn County added 10 new cases. The remaining new cases have been spread across six counties in Montana.

No new deaths have been reported and the death toll in the state stands at 82. There are currently 94 people hospitalized for treatment for the virus.
The cumulative total number of coronavirus cases in the state since the start of the pandemic is now 5,792. There have been 4,162 recoveries and there are now 1,548 active cases.
Yellowstone County continues to have the most active cases with 648. Big Horn County has 231 active cases and Missoula County has 85. Flathead County has 84 active cases.
A total of 204,725 tests were performed in the state, an increase of 2,801 in the previous 24-hour period.
