More than a dozen injured in DC subway bus crash

More than a dozen people were injured – two seriously – in a subway bus crash in the nation’s capital on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The accident took place around 3:45 p.m. in Washington DC’s Fort Totten neighborhood, the city’s northeast side, at 1st Place and Riggs Road, DC Fire and EMS said.

One passenger was in critical condition and another was in serious but not life-threatening condition, the agency said.

Eleven other people were injured but their injuries were not considered serious.

Further details of how the crash happened were not immediately known.
