Lightning general manager Julien BriseBois took a few moments to soak up this second Stanley Cup in a row before getting back to work.

There was the boat parade and rally on Monday, which BriseBois attended, allowing Assistant GMs Stacy Roest and Jamie Pushor to make the GM’s league-wide GM call. And there was Sunday’s dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse in Tampa, where there were 75 to 100 members of the organization, from coaches and scouts to support staff, including AHL Syracuse.

“You kind of mix tasting and hard work,” said BriseBois. “The reality is that the season is ending and you have a month of work and a week to do it. We were back to work the next day.
