Steve Smith joins the Comilla Victorians

Comilla Victorians, of Bangladesh's first division, have recruited Australian Steve Smith for the next edition of the tournament, which kicks off Jan. 5.

"We signed it and hope it will be available after four games," Victorian officials told Cricbuzz on Tuesday.

The Australian will arrive after the departure of Pakistani Shoaib Malik, who should be available for the first four games, since he will join the Pakistan team before the series against New Zealand.

Smith and Warner will serve the ban until March 29, 2019 while Bancroft will be absent until December 29 of this year.

Compatriot Smith, Warner, joined Sylhet Sixers for the next edition of BPL.
