NAMIBIA suffered a 78-29 defeat in South Africa during the opening match of the Netball Diamond Challenge in Limpopo on Tuesday.
South Africa dominated from the start and took a 17-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, then rose to 38-9 at halftime.
By the end of the third quarter, they had a 61-15 lead, and although Namibia made a comeback in the last quarter, SA completed a comfortable win.
Namibia's next match is against the South African president's team at 17:00 on Wednesday.
