Google Translate on the Web updated with Material Theme

Spotted for the first time in October, the topic of Google Translate materials is now widely deployed on the Web. In addition to adopting the new aspect of Google for applications, the site also offers a responsive design.

The new Google Translate website retains the same general layout with two fields for the input and output language. Under an extremely white application bar, there are tabs toggle between entering "Text" and downloading "Documents". This redesign of the theme of the documentation aims to facilitate the presentation and access to existing features.

The new site layout is now compatible with other Google products. In addition, updated labels and typography make navigation easier. For example, you have always been able to download documents for translation, but this feature is now easier to find.

Text fields have tabs that note the current language, while the manual selector now covers the entire width of the screen for easy selection.

Below are large circular buttons to access History, Saved and Community. "Saved" slides open a right drawer with the ability to search, sort, and export to Google Sheets. Meanwhile, each saved translation has a language pair tag that users can click to sort the results later.

"History" also opens as a right drawer that reduces both text fields, while "Community" opens a different page. In the meantime, Google Translate adds a navigation drawer for quick access to Help, Privacy, and more.

Another big change is a responsive design that dynamically adjusts to your device's display. As the number of images on the screen decreases, the conversion changes from a two-column design to a single feed presentation. Users can test this by adjusting their window. Google notes that when Translate launches new features, it is suitable for phones, tablets, and desktops.

The new version of Google Translate with Google Material Theme is now fully deployed on the Web.
