MediaTek Announces Launch of New Helio P90 Chipset with "Revolutionary AI"

The Realme U1 announced yesterday is the first phone to integrate the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. However, MediaTek is already working on its next midrange SoC, called Helio P90.

The company itself has started cutting the chip on Twitter, as you can see below. The Helio P90 should present a "revolutionary AI", while being powerful and effective.

The bit of artificial intelligence is quite believable (at least for a mid-range chip) if one takes into account the result that the Helio P80, which had not yet been announced, managed to achieve a goal reference – it was in second place after the next SoC range top.

The Oppo R19 is perhaps the first device to use the P80, but so far we have not heard anything similar about the P90. Neither when MediaTek wants to unveil it is not very clear. The company may have felt the need to remind us that it is still developing new products, which could have something to do with Qualcomm's big announcement of December 4th.
