NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company that owns the Nokia smartphone branding license, has already announced plans to update Android Pie on all its smartphones. Now the company has confirmed the list of older Nokia smartphones that will receive the update Android Pie.

Juho Sarvikas, product director at HMD Global, has gone to Twitter to confirm the updated Android Pie for older Nokia phones. He said the update will start coming out this month. The company will first roll out the update for Nokia 5, followed by Nokia 3.1 Plus, and Nokia 6 will get it.

The company also added that the
Nokia smartphones will receive the update throughout the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter of this year.
