The main suspect in the alleged murder of the late Lindie Prinsloo in Swakopmund on Friday was found hanged in an alleged suicide.
On Monday, Ivan Pitt was found hanged in the garage of the Swakopmund home where Prinsloo was killed.
Chief Inspector Daniel Gurirab of Erongo Police Confirmed the Discovery of Pitt's Body The Namibian Monday, indicating that more information would be released later in the day.
Prinsloo's body was found in his bathroom in a pool of blood on Friday afternoon, his throat slit.
According to reports, relations between Prinsloo and Pitt were abusive.
Pitt has been on the run since Friday.
In the same vein, Monday, Gurirab also condemned the broadcast of a photo of Pitt's hanging body on social media.
