Fans launch a petition for Nathan Fillion to get the name of a building

Fan Lauren Hunter launched the Change.org petition to get enough signatures to convince Edmonton City officials to name a new park after the actor.

"The city of Edmonton is turning downtown parking lots into a new central park that does not have a name yet," Hunter said on the petition's page. Fans have left encouraging comments on the petition to make Nathan Fillion's civilian flag a reality. Up to now, the petition has collected nearly 9,000 signatures.
