As we manage to carry out more and more tasks directly from our smartphones, the need for many traditional activities and services has been reduced. This has led to entirely digital alternatives, even for things like banks. Today, a Google Pay support page revealed that T-Mobile is relaunching its digital finance service as T-Mobile Money, with first-time support for the Google payments service.
No official announcement regarding T-Mobile Money has yet been made, but its name has been added to the main list of banks and credit card companies supporting Google Pay in the United States.
The official website of T-Mobile Money is also online and details the program that addresses T-Mobile's wireless clients, with offers such as special interest rates. The website also states that T-Mobile Money is compatible with Samsung Pay and Apple Pay.
The carrier's previous service, called "T-Mobile Mobile Money", operated with a simple VISA prepaid card but was stopped two years ago. Why did T-Mobile decide to enter the banking sector?
