Huawei put a 7-inch screen on his latest smartphone

Huawei introduces a new phone in its Honor Note series, and this model comes with the biggest screen in the line: just under seven inches. Back in an old smartphone era of, I guess, 2013 or like two years ago, this size was considered a tablet.

The Honor Note 10 is not the first phone to cross the 7-inch mark – it's not even Huawei's first phone to do it – but that's another sign that phones will not stop growing, especially now that manufacturers are better than ever at slimming their glasses, making these mammoths take up less space than they have

The phone comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, a Kirin 970 processor, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. Its huge AMOLED display has a resolution of 1080 x 2220, putting it a little more than 1080p, and everything runs on Android Oreo with Huawei's EMUI skin. Unfortunately, it lacks a headphone jack. But on the plus side, it has a huge 5000mAh battery to match its extra large screen.

The previous model of Note 10, Note 8, launched in 2016 with a 6.6-inch screen, so this is a significant increase in size. Huawei has already used a 7-inch screen on its MediaPad X2 in 2015. Lenovo has also reached the 7-inch mark this year with the Phab. And in 2013, Asus made the 7-inch Fonepad, which we still called a tablet.

Huawei is launching the Honor Note 10 in China, with the entry-level model starting at ¥ 2799, or about US $ 410. It does not seem that the line of the memo has already come to the United States – maybe it has something to do with the use of the name "Note" on a big smartphone – and right now, it looks like about six inches.
