Margaret Atwood writes a sequel to her dystopian hit novel The servant's tale which should be published next year.

The 79-year-old Canadian author tweeted that the book entitled Wills, will be fixed 15 years after the final scene of the original 1985 novel.

Three female characters will tell this new story, inspired by questions that readers have asked about the inner workings of Gilead's fictional state, as well as about "the world we live in," Atwood said.

The original book is written from the point of view of the protagonist, Offred, a woman living in a Christian military dictatorship in the United States.
