The Motorola MotoG series retains its title as the king of cost-effective smartphones since its launch in 2013. This series has improved considerably since the first Moto G model, from a plastic device with interchangeable colored rear shells to a range of windows of superior quality. and aluminum devices that still maintain their advantageous prices.
The Moto G6 series includes the standard model, a Plus model and a Play model. It is expected that the G7 line will continue to offer three models. Here are all the rumors about Moto G7 models to date.
Motorola Moto G7 release date and price

The Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play have all been announced by the end of April 2018 and will be released in early May. We did not expect to see Moto G7 models until March 2019 at the earliest.
The Moto G5 models have been announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 and the Barcelona Motor Show is therefore a possibility for the G7 models, although there is currently no rumor to support a specific launch date.
In terms of price, we expected the Moto G7 to start at least like the Moto G6, which would be around £ 219. The Moto G6 game starts at 169 € and the Moto G6 Plus at 269 €. It is therefore likely that the Moto G7 models are between £ 170 and £ 300.

Moto G7
The Motorola Moto G7 appeared in some renders created by @OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. It presents a device with a water drop-shaped notch at the top of the screen, like the recent OnePlus 6T, but there is still a small frame surrounding the entire screen and a little bigger up and down.
At the rear, the images show the G7 with a dual rear camera and a flash built into the raised circular case, while a circular "M" mark fingerprint sensor is shown below. It is claimed that the Moto G7 will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD + (2340 × 1080) IPS LCD screen, although a 6-inch screen has also been suggested, so it's likely that the 6.4 inches represents the Moto G7 Plus.
The format ratio for the Moto G7 would be 19.5: 9 and would offer a ratio screen / screen of 85%, which is an improvement over the Moto G6 series. From the renderings, it is suggested that the back of the G7 will be curved glass. It is also suggested to leave the 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C at the bottom.

Moto G7 Play
Images that have leaked have also appeared for Moto G7 Play in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The device appeared in an FCC file associated with several images and technical details. Based on the leak, the G7 Play will feature a small notch but not a drop-shaped notch similar to the Google Pixel 3 XL.
At the back, it seems that there will be a single camera lens in the circular housing, like the Moto G6 Play, and a fingerprint sensor will be shown below with an "M" in the middle, as in testifies the Moto G7 rendering. The FCC record also shows a picture detailing the situation. It includes a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top for the Moto G7 Play and a USB Type-C drive at the bottom, the latter being a micro-USB upgrade from the Moto G6 Play.
The volume and power buttons are now on the right side of the unit, while the SIM and microSD slots are on the left side, depending on the rating.
Moto G7 hardware and software

Based on the HowToTechNaija specification leak, the Motorola Moto G7 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is likely that the Moto G7 Plus will offer more RAM and more storage. The specification leak does not mention the microSD, but the site claims that the G7 will have a storage extension of up to 256GB and that previous Moto models have supported the microSD, which is predictable.
The battery capacity is estimated at 3500mAh for the Moto G7 based on the specs, which would be larger than the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Plus, but not the Moto G6 Play which offers a 4000mAh cell.
It is also claimed that the Moto G7 will run Android Pie 9.0, unsurprisingly. Motorola devices have very little bloatware on the Android software, allowing you to experience a sleek experience with just a few pre-installed apps. It also means that they are among the first devices to be updated when a new version of Google's software appears.
According to other hardware features, HowToTechNaija claims that the Moto G7 will be a dual-SIM device and that the battery will be compatible with fast charging, which is expected as Moto G6 models all offer TurboCharging technology.
The datasheet also includes a fingerprint with an unlocked padlock icon. Below, it is written "digital impressao". It is likely that this refers to a physical fingerprint sensor, as shown by the renders, rather than a fingerprint sensor on display as on some recent devices.
Moto G7 Play Hardware
The FCC record revealing the Moto G7 Play detailed some specs as well as design leaks. He suggests that the G7 Play will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset and Adreno 506 graphics.
It is also claimed that it will have a 2820mAh battery, although it is significantly smaller than the Moto G6 Play and its 4000mAh battery. We were expecting a TurboCharging and we also expected the G7 Play to run Android Pie, as the Moto G7 would do.
G7 Moto Cameras

The disclosed technical data sheet published by HowToTechNaija also gave some details about the specifications of the Moto G7 camera. It is claimed that there will be a 12 megapixel front camera, coupled with a dual rear camera consisting of a 16 megapixel sensor and a 5 megapixel sensor.
The Moto G6 is equipped with a dual camera system of 12 megapixels and 5 megapixels, f / 1.8, while the G6 Plus is equipped with a more advanced system of f / 1.7 of 12 megapixels and 5 megixixels. If the specs of the G7 are accurate, it seems that Moto is considering increasing the resolution of the main lens of the rear camera, compared to its predecessors.
However, we were expecting improvements elsewhere, such as processing and new features. If a Moto G7 Plus model appears, additional features may be added over the G7, while G7 Play may reduce the camera's capabilities. The leaks suggest a single rear camera for the Play, as suggested by the G6 Play.
