The National Student Financial Assistance Fund (SFAF) announced today that it has settled 95% of the outstanding tuition fees of 2017 in accordance with its agreement with the University of New York. National Organization of Namibian Students (Nanso).
Nanso and NSFAF the student loan provider would start paying unpaid fees for 2017 from Monday of this week.
Josefina Oskar, marketing and communication assistant at NSFAF, said final payments would be made tomorrow.
She added that during the processing of payments an error was detected, which means that some students were paid more than was due.
"These payments have been canceled and the error has been rectified," Oskar said.
