It is the time of the fourth round of the Ranji trophy. Three rounds have been completed and, despite the quality performance of the old domestic cricket war horses in the country, some of the new stars have also been revengeful. The return of Yuvraj Singh to Ranji before the IPL auction is one of the highlights of this round. A record 37 teams, including seven Northeast beginners, are competing in the Ranji Trophy. The new teams have participated in the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy, but playing red ball cricket will be a tougher challenge, as some have already seen so far this season.
