The researchers have designed a new nano tool that could become a new way of exploiting blood samples to get information about Cancer, according to a study published Wednesday by the University of Manchester.
A little invasive blood tests have the potential to detect and monitor life-threatening diseases such as cancer. But markers released into the blood in response to an illness are often difficult to detect because they are too small and too few. Xinhua news agency reported.

The study, led by researchers at the University of Manchester, has shown that small molecules – particularly proteins – adhere to nanoparticles in the bloodstream of cancer patients. The collection of nanoparticles in the blood can then allow the analysis of sticky molecules, some of which are released by the growing cancer.
"We want to amplify cancer signals in the blood that would otherwise be buried among all of these" molecular noises, "said Professor Kostas Kostarelos, author of the study, in Manchester.
"Our team hopes to discover biomolecule panels that can detect cancer warning signs, which will be used as a basis for the development of new diagnostic tests," said Professor Kostarelos.
The study was published in the journal Advanced Materials.
