Human remains found near Rössing Mountain on Sunday may have been deposited by runoff during the last series of heavy rains in the Namib.

The bones were discovered Sunday afternoon by an employee of Omega Security.

The mountain is about 30 kilometers from Swakopmund towards the road to Arandis. The discovery was reported to the police of Arandis and an investigation ensued.
