SHILIMELA security services have either fired or suspended about 18 security guards this month after complaining to management and talking to the media about abuse.

Sesilia Mingila claimed that she had been fired from the security firm along with 13 other people on November 9, 2018 after she complained to the management of illegal payroll deductions, the absence of bulletin pay, late payment of wages and sexual advances to female staff members. month.
The company, she said, did not pay her when she left on maternity leave in April 2017, although they agreed in advance to pay them all.
"Four women took maternity leave at about the same time, but only two were paid," Mingila said.
She added that they had also tried to contact management directly about the unfair conditions they faced, but they had been informed that they were not allowed access to the personal details of the organization. responsible.

Last week Berina Mwampole, the Zambezi regional supervisor, confirmed to the Namibian newspaper that some security agents were not paid for the months of September, October and November, and then sent the rest of the questions to Shilimela.
