The Kapana Cooking Contest in the Eastern Region attracted over 40 attendees in Gobabis during the weekend. Omaheke Mega-save the commercial complex of the city for the first time since its inception in 2014.

The competition has resulted in five winners in the category of cooks and three winners in the category of professional cooks who will participate in the Grand Final at Windhoek on a date yet to be announced.

The contest, which was mostly entered by Gobabis kapana sellers, attracted a large crowd of spectators who came to cheer on the participants.

According to MeatMa's Local Sales Representative & Value Addition, Griffith Uahindua, MeatMa was again, we are happy to be part of this tour of the East.
