The next Samsung wireless charger will charge two devices at once

Samsung plans to release a two-in-one charger for its smartphones and the next Galaxy Watch. The Duo Wireless Charger duo package was leaked in anticipation of Samsung's Unpacked press conference, which will take place at Barclays Center on August 9th.

The Wireless Charger Duo box reveals that she is able to simultaneously charge two Qi compatible phones or a Galaxy phone and watch. Both placement zones support fast wireless charging. According to rumors, the next version of Note 9 will feature a battery of 4000 mAh and Samsung has recorded a new wireless charger that could improve the wireless charging capabilities already fast recent Galaxy smartphones. It is not yet clear whether the Wireless Charger Duo will be capable of this higher output.

After early rumors announced that Samsung would make a return to Google's Wear operating system with its next smartwatch, it seems less and less less likely. It is thought that the Galaxy Watch will run the company's Tizen software again.

The Wireless Charger Duo arrives just as Apple continues to work on its AirPower carpet, announced for the first time at last September's iPhone event. While two-way chargers are relatively common, Apple said that AirPower would simultaneously charge three devices, such as an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. In June, Bloomberg reported that Apple faced "a series of technical hurdles" during the development of AirPower, as well as ensuring that the carpet charging does not overheat and works with its "complex" circuits.

Again, the Samsung Duo Wireless Charger only covers two devices at a time. The company's Icon X headphones do not support wireless charging for the moment. But if you plan on taking both Note 9 and Galaxy Watch, it could prove to be a practical (albeit probably very expensive) accessory.
