The new Samsung Galaxy Watch has appeared today and comes from the closest internal source of Samsung – Samsung
The official Samsung online store has released the sequel to the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch, with a product image and description, according to a CNET report.
The store link would have led to a dead page and there was a glaring lack of product specifications – the model number was different from what was registered with the FCC, as well. However, that does not mean much because we still have no concrete information about the Galaxy watch, beyond the fact of becoming more and more obvious that it exists.
Falling into place
At this point, we are almost certain that Samsung's next watch will be the Galaxy Watch. All the rumors coalesce perfectly, and as we approach the supposed announcement, probably in August – we expect speculation to increase exponentially.
However, we are not yet perfectly clear on the details. It is possible that the Galaxy Watch uses Samsung's Tizen operating system, or that it uses the Google Wear operating system. This would please many Samsung fans who asked for greater compatibility.
We will probably learn all the final and solid information about the new smartwatch closer to the Samsung Galaxy Watch release date, which could be as early as August 9 – the same day as the Galaxy Note 9, according to recent speculation. Other rumors point to an unveiling of the 2018 IFA at the end of the month of August.
