Carla, who played Olivia Crain in the first series, said Weekly entertainment: "Mike said that he would be interested in the concept of anthology, in which some actors come back to play different characters.
Carla added that the story of Crains was fully related, but that she would like to work with Mike again.

"I think it's like telling the whole story of the Crain family, but if I was invited and could, I'd really love it, just because I like to collaborate with him.
"When you find one of those like-minded collaborators, and in Mike Flanagan's case, that's certainly the case, I'm always excited about this idea."

He said TV line, "It did not look like anything I wanted in the world, which is why we abandoned it quickly.
