Two suspects arrested for the murder of British radio DJ Gavin Ford in Lebanon

TTwo men were arrested Wednesday for the murder of British radio presenter Gavin Ford in Lebanon.

Mr Ford, 53, was reportedly strangled, his hands tied behind his back, in his apartment in a mountain town near the capital Beirut.

The suspects, both Syrian, were arrested in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.

A source from Lebanon's internal security forces told MailOnline: "Two men have been arrested for the murder of Radio One presenter Gavin Ford."

The DJ was found clubbed and strangled to death in his luxury residence in Beit Meri in the early hours of Monday morning.

He celebrated his birthday with a dozen friends in an Indian restaurant on Sunday, but his colleagues began to worry about not having gone to the 7 o'clock show on Tuesday.
