Swedish automaker Volvo launched its most affordable SUV, the XC40 in India. The Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, and Audi Q3 rivals SUV was priced (introduction) at Rs 39.9 lakhs (ex-showroom) and it will be offered only in the fully loaded R-Design version.
The XC40 bears the signature of the new age Volvo's design attributes, such as Thor's flagship and Christmas tree taillights. The overall design of the XC40 was heavily influenced by the XC90 flagship. Volvo will be offering the XC40 in three exterior shades – Crystal White, Bursting Blue and Passion Red.
Since the Volvo XC40 for India is the high-end R-Design, the SUV comes with a two-tone set also includes a diamond-shaped alloy wheel, a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free opening and closing of the power liftgate
The interior has black leather tones and lavender orange fake wool to add to the trend. Leather are standard and the instrument panel features black piano inserts, a dual-zone air conditioner, a 12.3-inch instrumentation cluster, a wireless mobile phone charging and a 13-inch Harman Kardon sound system. 750W speakers .XC40 R-Design comes with a touch screen infotainment system This 9.0-inch connectivity Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
