The City of Windhoek has increased the rates for its ambulance services by 5.6%, while those of the firefighters have increased by 10% overall.

Hourly charges for a heavy firefighter's emergency vehicle rose from N $ 1,017 to N $ 1,119, while a light vehicle used as a service vehicle or intervention vehicle will cost now 493 Namibian dollars.
