Xiaomi Mi A2 to be unveiled July 25 – Business News

The Beijing-based electronics company, Xiaomi, could present the Xiaomi Mi A2 in Spain on July 25, according to MySmartPrice. The device will be available in gold, blue and black color variants. In addition, it will be available in four memory configurations, namely. 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The launch date in India is still uncertain but the first generation Mi A1 will complete its update cycle in September this year.

Recently, a live image of the Mi A2 appeared on Slash Leaks, and showed the phone's display turned on, revealing details about the key specifications of the device. The phone seems to run on Android 8.1 Oreo with the security patch installed. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor.

Regarding the technical specifications of the phone, the Mi A2 will display the same full-HD + (1080×2160 pixels) 5.99-inch screen as the Mi 6X and will work with the Android One software. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, and comes in three storage variants, namely. 32, 64 and 128 GB.

The phone houses a vertically stacked dual rear camera configuration, with a 12 megapixel primary sensor. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The device will be backed up by a 3010 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It will be compatible with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 and USB Type-C.

On September 5th, Xiaomi launched the Mi A1, the predecessor of the upcoming Mi A2, at an event in New Delhi. The phone was available in black, gold and pink. The Mi A1 was the first Xiaomi phone to be launched without MIUI.
