A spectacular recent discovery points to life on another planet in our solar system.

NASA scientists have presented a study according to which Venus could have been a habitable planet two or three billion years ago with a climate conducive to water.

Computer simulations show that Venus, the hottest planet in our solar system, looks a lot like planet Earth.

The researchers said something happened that caused a dramatic change in temperature over 80% of Venus' climate, giving it an average temperature of 462 degrees.
