NASA photos reveal rich history of astronauts taking selfies in space

In the space, nobody can hear you say "cheese! – But that did not stop astronauts around the world from posing for an astonishing series of so-called "space selfies".

The images were taken during extravehicular activities (or EVA) in order to carry out upgrading and maintenance work outside the spacecraft, hundreds of kilometers from the Earth's surface .
