NASA’s latest freighter trip to the ISS contains game-changing machine

The latest cargo trip to the International Space Station contains technology that could very well pave the way for future settlers to our moon and other planets.

NASA is currently preparing to build some sort of base on the moon in which humans can operate. However, before construction begins, the space agency must perform a lot of testing to get the best and most effective understanding of how to get started. One of the technologies to be tested is a 3D printer on the International Space Station.

This is not just any normal 3D printer, as it is designed to print regolith (loose soil or rock) from the moon or other planets. The idea behind the printer is to reduce the amount of material that will have to be transported to the moon or another planet.
