OAKLAND – The Warriors and Rockets meet Tuesday night at the Oracle Arena for the unofficial Harden-Foster Bowl match.
Officially, this is the second game of the Western Conference semifinal, in which the Warriors have a 1-0 lead. But the attention to basketball is in strong competition with the control of Rockets superstar James Harden and officials including team leader Scott Foster.
Foster is the most unpopular referee in the NBA. He has earned a reputation for thin, unyielding skin. Harden describes him as being arrogant, while a member of the Warriors said his problem with Foster was: "You can not even talk to him."
Foster is considered a friendly referee on the road, suggesting that the Warriors are in trouble. The Rockets, however, lost six consecutive playoff games in which Foster was the main official.
The game itself counts more for Houston, who tries to avoid falling into a 0-2 hole. The teams that lost the first two games in a seven-game series only returned 7.1% (20-262) of the time.
The front cover on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus begins at 6 pm with Warriors Outsiders, followed by Sports Net Central, with coverage after the match immediately after TNT's broadcast.

warriors: C cousins DeMarcus (L quadriceps tear) and C Damian Jones (L chest surgery) are classified as released.
rockets: G Austin Rivers (disease) is listed as questionable.
PROSPECTS OF ROTATION
warriors: Coach Steve Kerr gave no indication as to his beginners in the first game before throwing the Hamptons 5. Kerr said he would likely return to that group for the second game. Given its effectiveness, there is no reason for it not to do so.
The infamous problems of Curry, who came down against the Clippers, followed him in this series. He started five in the first match, forcing Kerr to change his usual rotation. Will it be the game in which Curry will not fear anything?
Center / striker Kevon Looney continues to be very effective, particularly with regards to his defense when he is switched to Harden. After the Match 1 match 1 hunt, Harden could be ready to drop him after Looney's presence forced two shots to go.
Iguodala played 34 minutes in the first game, about eight minutes longer than ideal. With four days between Games 2 and 3, Kerr could be willing to stay in the same beach.

rockets: Coach Mike D'Antoni made a surprise in the opening game with Nene, a big, rarely used player who responded with a good 14 minutes. This left PF Kenneth Faried, whose energy may be contagious, in the cold. He never left the bench. D'Antoni will probably choose between these two choices, whether he wants to stay big or small.
Capela, who fought the virus in the first-round series against Utah, still does not look the same. He had four points and six rebounds in 27 minutes in Game 1. His presence as a lobe threat was beautifully neutralized by the Warriors in Game 1.
Tucker was goalless (0-4 FG, 0-3 3p) over 39 minutes in Game 1, missing three open looks. If he can not convince the Warriors to defend his corner, D'Antoni can reduce his minutes in favor of Danuel House Jr. or Faried.
