As early as next year, Neeleman wants to obtain a separate Air Operator Certificate for a US airline, meeting under the umbrella of the start-up. While Azul takes delivery of the Embraer E195-E2, the airline plans to replace the older E-Jet first-generation fleet. According to Neeleman's theoretical plan, some thirty aircraft would pass into the United States for a combination of scheduled operations and charters.

Moxy should receive its first Airbus A220-300 from 2021.
