A new interface for configuring alarms has made its way onto smart screens. Instead of just asking Google to create an alarm, you can now customize everything onscreen, from the time it sounds, the tone it plays, the days it repeats, the duration. of repetition and whether your morning routine should start after you finish. .
In addition, there is a new special setting for sunrise that allows your screen to slowly come alive in the morning to mimic the sun. You can choose the duration of the effect, which smart lights should follow and slowly illuminate with the screen, and whether or not a small tone should be played before starting.

Google weather frog
Until now, you could choose from three different ambient backgrounds for your screen: Google Photos, Google curated artwork, and different full screen clock designs. Now there’s a fourth option: Google’s weather frog that we all love on our phones.
A new card on your home screen should let you know, but you can also say “Ok Google, set up my photo frame” or swipe up from the bottom of the screen and go to Settings> Photo frame. The weather frog should be the fourth option there.
Instead of random photos or art images, you will now see a fullscreen graphic with the weather frog cooling or freezing or having random fun on green hills and sandy beaches. It changes with the time of day, so you will get a night scene after sunset and a brighter one during the day. The time and weather for the next two days are also displayed at the bottom left. Family tab and sticky notes
Google has been teasing sticky notes on smart screens for just over a year. The feature was deployed in a limited capacity for some users, but has remained unavailable for most. Google reiterated its promise last November, announcing it as part of a new Family tab. Now both have started to appear on some units.

To add a new reminder, you can tap that yellow card, but you can also trigger it by saying “Ok Google, add a family note” from any screen or even when the display is on. ambient mode. The new alarm interface with sunrise alarms should be live for most of you, but the other features seem to be rolling out as part of a server side change.
