The deadline confirmed that Netflix is now requiring Covid-19 vaccines from its staff and those who visit its offices.
We first reported that Netflix had become the first major Hollywood studio to implement a blanket policy requiring vaccinations for actors in all of its U.S. productions, as well as for those who come into contact with them on set. Disney, which slowly allowed employees to return to Burbank, Calif., Last week established a policy that all salaried and non-union employees must be vaccinated.
Similar to other companies, Netflix has set a return to the office after Labor Day; however, that seems to be changing given the delta variant climate. Employees are still allowed to work from home; however, the streamer’s offices are open for those who prefer to work from there. The majority of Netflix employees continue to work offsite.
