On the Roderwoldeweg in Foxwolde, a vehicle crashed against a tree and caught fire on Monday morning
police pursuit. The three occupants of the car were injured and transferred to the hospital. One of them was trapped and had to be released by firefighters. According to the police, the three occupants do not appear to be seriously injured.
The accident occurred after the police had recognized a stolen car on the A7 between Peize and Roden. After a short chase, the car collided with a tree and caught fire.
The police went after the car and almost immediately afterwards hit a tree on the Roderwolderweg in Foxwolde. This caused a fire. Officers pulled out one of the occupants who had been trapped. (2)
